Party Ruined… Cops Show up!!!
This Morning at around 1:00 am the police received a noise complaint. The police showed up at the home not to long after the complaint to check it out. The policemen were surprised to find that the teenagers were drinking beer and alcohol. Whenever they figured these things out they ended up taking many of the teens from the party down to the station.

In the book Swallowing Stones I learned many lessons. In my opinion this is one of my favorite books of all time and it tells about guilt and the girl who died while diving for stones. The book is about a boy who threw a party for his birthday and he wanted to show off his gun to his best friend, so he showed his gun off by shooting it into the sky. There was a girl around the same age as the guy who shot the gun, her mother told her to go and get her father for lunch. The girl went outside just in time to see her father fall off of the roof because he had just been killed by a bullet flying through the air around four blocks away. The next day the girls father’s death had been all around town, on the radio, in the paper and so much more, the boy who shot the gun in the air (Michael) was listening to the radio with his best friend (Joe) and he heard that a man was killed by a bullet soaring through the sky, he knew immediately that he had killed a man the night before and he was terrified. The book also tells about a little girl who was diving for stones and picking them up with her teeth, she accidentally choked on one and died, it is told to say that if she would have just swallowed the stone she would have lived she might have had a cut up and messed up gut but she would have at least lived.
Hi my name is Shady, I am from a small community in East Texas. I am fourteen years old and I am in the eighth grade. I am an artistic and bright type of girl, I cherish the time I have with my family and friends and I dedicate my extra time to examining books, and finding new things. I am also very gracious as my dad likes to say,and I have hope that I will make it to a big college one day. Blackland prairie has 30-45 in. of rain yearly and droughts are apparent.

Early settlers were drawn to this region by these productive soils, gentle topography, and luxuriant native grasslands. Although historically a region of tall-grass prairies, today much of the land is devoted to cropland and other agricultural enterprises.
I picked zoology because I think that animals are very interesting to study about because they all have different characteristics.
